Looking for Sciatica Treatment? This Could Be For You

How sick and tired of back pain are you?  Let me rephrase – how willing are you at this point to get sciatica treatment?

I’ve known people with pretty bad back pain and I know some people get to the point where they aren’t willing to pursue treatment.

Why?

Because it’s an emotional roller coaster.  Think back to your early days when you had optimism about treatment (maybe you’re still optimistic – that’s good).  Your doctor said matter-of-factly, let’s do some physical therapy.  Or a chiropractor told you your back condition could be treated.  You were pretty excited I bet.  You regularly attended your sessions full of hope.  But after many treatment visits and spending a decent amount of money, you still have back pain.

If you have back pain, let me ask you if this rings a bell?

  1. Are long trips in the car miserable?
  2. Is going to the movies more pain than pleasure?
  3. Do you lose sleep because of sciatica or back pain?
  4. Have you given up activities you used to love doing (I sure did)?
  5. Have you missed work because of back pain?
  6. Have you taken pain medication that upsets your stomach or fogs your mind?
  7. Are you thinking about surgery?

Back pain sufferors answer yes to most of these questions.

Now the last thing I want to do is get your hopes up telling you I have the magic cure.  I don’t.  I’m not a healthcare worker.  Besides, healthcare workers can’t even tell you they have a sure remedy to your back pain.

What can I do for you?

I can only do one thing, and that is let you know about the free 7 Day Back Pain Cure Guide.  That’s it.  It’s free to you.  Just click here for the 7 Day Back Pain Cure Guide and ask for your copy.

Sciatica treatment and 7 Day Back Pain Cure Guide

It’s a pretty substantial guide with 213 pages.  Long story short, I read the entire book and learned 4 very important elements to healing back pain:

  1. Sciatica is a symptom, not a condition.  To heal the symptom, you need to heal the condition.
  2. Many back pain conditions are a muscle imbalance.
  3. Muscle imbalance resulted from my sedentary lifestyle, emotional states, and diet.
  4. MOST IMPORTANT:  With exercises for my specific condition and improved diet, it’s possible correct the muscle imbalance, and therefore relieve sciatic pain.

This is a much-simplified version of what the 7 Day Back Pain Cure talks about.

Sciatica Pain Relief – When?

Sciatica pain relief is sought by pretty much each and every sciatica sufferer. Sciatica anguish can pretty much ruin your life – especially if you have very strong, acute pain.

How do you know the pain you have is sciatica pain?

It’s very important to understand that “sciatica” is a series of symptoms; it’s not an actual diagnosis. Sciatica discomfort symptoms include sensations such as tingling, dull aches and pain, and / or burning sensations.  The pain can be in one place or radiate down one side of your lower body.

Sciatica pain relief starts with discovering it

If you might have any sort of back again ache, see your physician immediately. Sciatica pain relief begins with knowing your pain symptoms are in fact sciatica.

Your physician will likely test your reflexes, order a blood test, send you for a series of imaging tests (i.e. x-ray, MRI, or others), and/or other testing to eliminate any other causes of the problem.

Once sciatica is confirmed by your physician – sciatica pain relief can be started.  But how?

This bears repeating:  do not wait around if you have back pain.  Sciatica severity can vary, but if you ignore it, it can get worse. If you start treating Sciatica in its early stages, you have a better chance of preventing long-term sciatica pain.

That said, some interim sciatica pain relief strategies you can get going right now include:

  • icing your back for 48 to 72 hours – especially when you feel pain. Then apply heat to the painful areas.
  • take typical pain relief medication – for example Tylenol or Ibuprofen to reduce pain immediately.
  • sleeping: place a pillow between your legs and try sleeping in the fetal position. Or, if you like sleeping on your back, sleep on a pillow placed under your back.
  • your physician may prescribe physical therapy treatment or anti-inflammatory injections.
